So you want to get involved in the development of decisions.module? Welcome aboard! The following should give you directions to get you started. First, you'll probably want to subscribe to the developers mailing list, either through the web interface or by sending an email to decisions-dev-subscribe@gnuvernment.org. Then, if you want to commit some code and patches, you'll need to apply for CVS access at Drupal.org, since this is where the code sleeps. Approval for the account takes some time (sometimes up to a month), so during that time, you are welcome to send your patches, properly formatted. Even when you get access to the repository, it would be important for you to present yourself to the mailing list: who you are, what you plan to work on, etc. The first few non-trivial patches should be submitted for approval to the mailing list prior to commit. If you are looking for things to work on, you can look at the project page, in particular at the issues that need attention. Testing is always good and good bug reports should be submitted, again through Drupal.org. Finally, a look at the roadmap should give you enough work to do for the next few years, if you have the time. Welcome aboard! |
